The German Cafe – History and Opportunity

This family restaurant was formed in 1985 by Alice, Caroland & Harvey Hudson (Jr). Alice brought many wonderful German recipes from her homeland when she relocated to the USA. These recipes formed the basis of the dishes they prepare and serve today. All menu items are prepared the old-fashioned way, from ‘scratch’ as the saying goes. The German Cafe is located in a renovated cotton warehouse circa 1860. The exposed beams and old brickwork add to the old world feel of our restaurant. The charm of The Cotton Exchange created the perfect setting for the old world ambiance that transports you across the Atlantic from the minute you arrive. Their reputation is based on the passion they show serving customers the best German food, beer, and wine possible.

There is a loyal customer following for this one of a kind restaurant. It is an ideal opportunity for a next generation owner seeking to own their own restaurant.
